Abstract/Description

Your name is Guy. You’re black, you’re in high school, and you’ve been declared insane. You’ve been put in something called PHP? You’re not sure what it means, but it’s definitely the madhouse. A discount madhouse, but the madhouse nonetheless. They tell you to think of it as a vacation. But aren’t you supposed to know when the vacation ends? Punchline is a creative writing piece that focuses on mental health and coming of age in a world gone mad. Using the second person, you will see how the world thinks, treats, and feels about him.
