Description

The following is a collection of four short stories composed during my time at Dominican University in San Rafael. The pieces at large follow the story of a travel journalist named Neal Fletcher, who is tasked to investigate twelve pieces of folklore scattered throughout California's vast landscapes. In his pursuit of knowledge Neal is repeatedly confronted by the whispers of the supernatural, which draw him back to his own troubled past. All the while, each story serves as a window into California's array of landscapes, and a sample of the stories that can be told therein.
