Abstract/Description
The primary goal of this study is to develop a comprehensive understanding of the environmental factors that influence college student athlete’s occupations and QOL. Literature regarding the relationship between the athlete, their environment, and their occupations focus largely on the negative connotations associated with participation in collegiate athletics (Caldeira et al., 2017) (Ford, 2008) (Levine, Etchison, & Oppenheimer, 2014.) The proposed research study aims to identify the supporting and inhibiting environmental factors of student athletes. Research findings will highlight pivotal components contributing to QOL and overall experience of collegiate athletes.
