Abstract/Description

This research paper will explore the different aspects of drug abuse among registered nurses and how it can affect implementation of care. The safety of both the patients and the nurses will be examined through research articles. Areas of safety concerns among nurses and patient are examined through qualitative research. Registered nurses are also given an opportunity to express their personal inputs and concerns within the sensitive topic of drug abuse. Drug abuses among health care providers are heavily frown upon, therefore it is important to explore this topic. In order to prevent drug abuse among registered nurses, the public should understand the reasons why nurses choose to abuse drugs.
