Abstract/Description
The purpose of this study is to gather valuable information regarding barriers that may prevent mothers from accessing the care necessary to better ensure a safe pregnancy and the delivery of a healthy baby. Identifying these barriers will allow for further intervention so that prenatal care may be more readily accessible to all women. This study will seek to identify both mothers' and nurses' perceptions regarding accessibility to prenatal care. These perceptions will then be compared to determine whether mothers and nurses have similar or altering views.
