Abstract/Description
This study explored the impact of flexible seating on students academic and physical performance. Flexible seating has been around for many years, but it is now becoming a popular trend in classrooms. Flexible seating can include: yoga balls, fidget bands, standing desks, and even beanbags. It is a way teachers can meet the individual learning needs of students to allow them to learn in a comfortable environment. The research questions used to guide this study are: 1) How do students respond to flexible seating? (academically and physically) and 2) What are the pros and cons of flexible seating in the classroom? The researcher will study four articles on flexible seating in order to answer these research question. Once I complete my research, I will add my research methodology as well as conclusions and significance.
