Abstract
The Business Strategy Game (BSG) is an online simulation game where teams compete head-to-head in running an athletic footwear company. Each team needs to form a strategy in order to compete in a global market arena in four geographic regions- Europe-Africa, North America, Asia-Pacific, and Latin America. Teams must make decisions based on online sales, operations, compensation, plant operations, and distribution centers. The goal is to have a competitive strategy to maintain a positive brand image, good financial standing, a place in the global market, return on investments, and credit rating. BSG provides hands on experience and will help us assess business risks, analyzing competitive conditions, making decisions from a company-wide perspective, and developing strategies that will help companies adjust to the market conditions.
