Description

today we come to tell our story through the experience of Lynn Sondag.

Lynn is an associate professor in the school of liberal arts and education. She received her Masters in Fine Arts from California College of the Arts. Lynn starting teaching at Dominican in 2002. She believes that students learn from a dynamic range of individual and collaborative exchanges between artists, artwork, and audience, in order to discover personal and alternative points of view. One of the audiences that she has encountered here are the Dominican Sisters of San Rafael and their Dominican story.

Lynn shares her personal story and how her path led from the American Midwest to San Francisco and Dominican University of California. She reflects on the Dominican values of Study, Reflection, Community, and Service and how her artistic practice fit with those values.
