Abstract/Description

Abstract

Climate change is a global problem that will require international cooperation to solve. While some progress has been made in recent years, not enough has been done to reverse the damage. With a significant amount of Americans who do not well understand the impacts of global warming, it is difficult to make advancements in solving such a complex dilemma. Educating citizens of the United States must be a top priority in adapting to and mitigating climate change. With proper knowledge of the topic, informed decisions can be made and global warming resolutions can be agreed upon. At both the national and state level, these decisions can reverse the damage to the Earth that humans have heavily contributed to. Policy regarding climate change education is an ambitious and proactive action to tackle this pressing issue, and needs to be enacted promptly.
